KRONA CHRONOGRAPHE
The arch on the TRIOMPHE dial, inspired by the Arc de Triomphe.

01 — THE ARCH & THE PILLAR

An architectural form framing the beating heart.

The shape of the Arc de Triomphe is echoed at the heart of the dial: an arch frames and highlights the beating heart of the Sellita SW200 movement.

It extends into a pillar bearing the name MAISON MORFIN vertically. The signature thus becomes an integral part of the architecture, echoing one of the monument's pillars.

THE CONNECTION TO PARIS

The arch and its pillar, reinterpreted on the scale of a watch dial.

The TRIOMPHE hour markers draw inspiration from the shapes of Parisian buildings seen from above.

02 — HOUR MARKERS & MATERIAL

Place de l’Étoile, seen from above.

Seen from above, the buildings surrounding the Arc de Triomphe form a distinctive geometric pattern. Their shapes inspired the design of the hour markers, bringing a fragment of Paris onto the dial.

Within the material, a polycrystalline diamond powder is incorporated and stabilised. Its star-like appearance carries the inspiration through to the material itself, echoing Place de l’Étoile.

THE CONNECTION TO PARIS

The silhouettes of Parisian buildings and the sparkle of an iconic square.

The TRIOMPHE barrel decoration reinterprets the sword motifs surrounding the Flame of the Unknown Soldier.

03 — THE FLAME & ENERGY

A symbol of energy, above the barrel.

The sword motifs surrounding the Flame of the Unknown Soldier inspire the decoration above the mainspring barrel. Its central opening reveals a ruby in the SW200 movement, recalling the circular centre from which the flame rises.

This placement is deliberate: the mainspring stores the watch's energy. The symbolism of fire thus meets mechanical engineering at the very point where that energy is stored.

THE CONNECTION TO PARIS

The swords, the central opening and the symbolism of the flame.

Twelve hour markers and twelve facets on the bezel and crown, echoing the twelve avenues radiating from the Arc de Triomphe.

04 — THE GEOMETRY OF TWELVE

Twelve avenues. One unifying design language.

Around the Arc de Triomphe, twelve avenues radiate outwards to form a star. This number becomes a defining reference throughout the design of TRIOMPHE.

Twelve hour markers, twelve facets on the bezel, twelve facets on the crown. The angles and volumes carry this rhythm throughout the design, connecting every detail to the geometry of the monument and its surroundings.

THE CONNECTION TO PARIS

The radiating pattern of twelve avenues, translated into the lines of the watch.
